I love Zumba. I discovered Laura’s Zumba class in January of 2008 and it has had such a positive impact on my everyday outlook. I look forward to it now even more than I did in the beginning, and I liked it from my very first session.
As a stay-at-home mom, Zumba gives me a physical and mental boost every time I attend. Another bonus is it provides an hour’s break from the endless task of taking care of kids and a chance to get out of the house and do something just for myself. I love that it makes me forget everything except the dance aerobics and the beat of the energetic music.
I used to try to exercise a couple times a week, and each session seemed to drag on forever. Now the only workout I need is Zumba, and it flies by. The workout is so much fun I’m disappointed when it’s over instead of counting the minutes until it finishes. I love that it makes me really sweat, and I feel great when I leave no matter what my mood when I arrived.
Zumba helped me get through winter with a good attitude and it will help me get into a swimsuit without too much embarrassment this summer. After a long lethargic day Zumba is a real pick me up and makes me feel good about myself again.
These Zumba classes are the best exercise I’ve ever tried and I know I will stick with it. For me, and for many, this workout is just downright addictive. Try it and you’ll understand the Zumba obsession.
"After a doctors visit in June of 2007, I realized that I need to do something in the way of cardiovascular exercise to lower blood pressure and cholesterol. (I was also seeing a chiropractor to relieve stress in my upper back and shoulder area.) While out walking one day, I learned about Zumba from a neighbor who was attending the class. I knew immediately Zumba was for me even though I have never done anything resembling a physical fitness class. I joined mid-September and have been faithful in attendance ever since. I am hooked in a major way and look forward to each class. I am so committed to this workout that I want others to experience "the party" as well. With Zumba and Weight Watchers, I have dropped two clothing sizes and I'm having a BLAST!
P.S. After a recheck by the doctor in December, blood pressure and cholesterol are fine and I have had NOT one visit to the chiropractor! "
